Timothy Thetford, D.D.S.
Dr. Thetford has provided the highest quality of dental care to Swanton area residents since 1991. He earned his undergraduate and dental degrees at The Ohio State University. He did his post graduate residency at the Medical College of Ohio, which allowed him to develop an expertise in treating children.
Dr. Thetford has been a member of Swanton Rotary since 1996. He was President of the Rotary Club in 2009 and 2010 and now is active as District 6600 International Services Chairman. He has led groups of Rotarians and dental staff on mission trips to Honduras. In addition to their community service, he and his wife Angie of 25 years, also participate as Court Appointed Special Advocates for the Lucas County Juvenile Court System. He is a member of the American Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, Toledo Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Their cat Duke, and Daisy their golden doodle keep them company while their two daughters are away at school. They are both very proud of their two daughters, Alison age 25 and Emily age 22. Alison is attending dental school at The Ohio State University and Emily is majoring in education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. They also enjoy many hobbies together including boating, golfing, tennis and travel.
